Environment Description
At Berghaus, everything is close by. You can do your daily shopping on foot. At metro station Amsterdam Lelylaan you will find an Albert Heijn To Go, and a little further (6 minutes by bike) you will find several supermarkets, a fishmonger, a Primera store, some clothing stores, a hairdresser, and more. You don't have to go far for your daily workout, either. Within a few hundred meters you will find several gyms and sports clubs.

The ideal base.
If you love to travel or regularly have to go abroad for work, Berghaus is the ideal place to live. Schiphol Airport is easily accessible, both by car (10 minutes) and public transportation (18 minutes). Another big advantage of this location is that you live on the west side of Amsterdam, which means you can be at the beach in just over half an hour. Moreover, with metro station Lelylaan just around the corner, you can also quickly reach other parts of Amsterdam.

Wine and dine close to home.
Amsterdam Nieuw-West has been on the rise for several years, and it shows in the many hotspots in the neighborhood. Enjoy culinary delights, visit the theater or a museum, and start your weekend in style on a Friday afternoon. It's all possible here. Visit the Meervaart Theater and the Van Eesteren Museum, have a drink and a bite at Bar LELY, SKYY Bar, Lokaal van de Stad or RADION, and enjoy the coolest waterfront terraces, such as Kaap West and Restaurant Oeverzicht.

In just an 8-minute bike ride you can reach the Sloterplas, where you can take a perfect 6 km walk or run around the lake. A 10-minute walk will take you to the Rembrandt Park and a 15-minute bike ride will take you to the Amsterdamse Bos. Once there, you can enjoy beautiful hiking, biking and skating trails.
